WELL DONE!!Well done to all those that took part in and completed the London Marathon. What a fantastic achievement. I know a few of you have been taking part in other marathons and half marathons so well done to you all.
Work life balance!10th to 17th is national work life balance awareness week. There is a lot more focus on flexible working and people taking work home with them. Keeping the right balance is important for not only your own physical and mental health but that of your families too. 85% of people reported not having a healthy work life balance. 46% of those don’t ask for help. A few tips especially if working from home. Set specific work hoursMake post-work plansDetermine achievable goalsTake proper breaksCreate a designated workspaceBe good to yourselfGet dressed for workAccept imperfection If you feel that you can’t get the right balance then ask for help. Don’t be afraid to say no.You can’t do everything and by putting pressure on yourself to do everything you may start to see your physical and mental health deteriorate as well as relationships with family and friends.
